University Hospital Essen upgraded their radiology department from analog to digital. “By starting with the digitalization, we had to install new diagnostic displays to replace the existing displays,” reflected the leading radiographer Mr. LotharSakowski. So the radiologists tested diagnostic displays from various manufacturers also displays from TOTOKU. All of those were used for daily routine by 15 medical specialists and 20 assistant doctors to allow a direct comparison. “Everybody agreed that the TOTOKU displays offer the best resolution to ensure the ideal diagnose for our patients,” outlines Prof. Dr. Michael Forsting, Director of the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional radiology and Neuroradiology at the University Hospital Essen, after the test period.
